Birthday/Christmas Wishlist

No other fictional television series has impacted me more than this one, and that's saying a lot since I consider myself a fan of Star Trek (mainly Next Generation and their "generational" counterparts). So, no, this series isn't Star Trek.

Stargate SG-1: The Complete Series

There is no theological significance to Stargate, except that it has a pretty interesting way of explaining the pyramids (Egyptian and Incan) and ancient mythology; very seldomly does it incorporate Hebreo-Christian imagery and theology. But the series was fun; I still miss it, and I watch the reruns on Sci-Fi whenever I can.

Now, the complete series is being released on DVD (a whopping 54 discs, if I'm reading it correctly). Sure, you could get the ten seasons individually, but a box set containing the complete series...wow! I'm drooling. I want it.

So, if anyone is looking for something to get me for Christmas—or if you want to wait for my birthday—here's the link: $279.99 at Circuit City (available on October 9).

Oh, and if you want to be especially giving (not that I'm asking), Star Trek: The Next Generation - the Complete Series will also be available (on October 2) for $499.99. And, I know that Deep Space Nine and Voyager are also available on a season-by-season basis.
