That our ultimate picture of success is a crucified Messiah means any conversation about success will be incompatible with a "bigger is better" mentality

G.I. Joe

not what you might think

The Preface
While watching T.V. last night—Deadliest Catch, I believe—I saw a commercial for the forthcoming G.I. Joe movie. I thought I caught a glimpse of Ben Affleck in the film, so I headed over to IMDb to see if he was listed among the cast for the film. What I discovered baffles me.

The Rest of the Story
It would seem that there is an actress by the name G.I. Joe. There is a short-lived Filipino television series called Kokey...a movie, too, apparently. Joe "played" the title character.

Why in quotes? Well, I went on a hunt for this G.I. Joe lady. What I found confounded me. Is there a person in there or is this some sort of animatronics? Is there really a person named G.I. Joe? Would IMDb have an actor/actress listing for a robot (it calls G.I. Joe an actress, by the way)? Maybe G.I. Joe is just a pseudonym (that wouldn't surprise me).

I just thought I would share this interesting find.

By the way, I'm even more excited about the G.I. Joe movie. However, I'm having a hard time imagining Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander.
