Away for a Day
We've had to replace our router. Our old router decided to stop working this morning. So, this evening after a funeral, we took my mother to Sam's Club to get some stuff, and I got a Wireless-N router. So, we're back online, now.

A little over a month ago, Genevieve noticed that some birds were building a nest right under the eaves of our house, atop the house number. It was a muddy contraption suitable only for small birds, especially since there was little room upon the house number for anything larger than a canary or parakeet.
For a while it seemed as if the nest was abandoned, so I decided to take a look. I grabbed a mirror, stood on a chair, and peeked in. I saw four little, blue eggs.
I have installed an extension to Firefox which allows me to post here. If this publishes, it works.
That is actually a very simple explanation. Normally, I would have to log in to a web-based control panel and create an entry from there. With this extension, all I need to do is write the entry from Firefox. The only downside is that I can only publish to the front page. I can't place anything under a "read more" or "read entire entry" link. But, it works well for this.
Good morning. It's 6/7/06. The world did not end yesterday. If you bet that it was going to end, how would you collect if it had?
Silly people...
Did you enjoy your cookout today? Did you go camping today? Or did you spend your day off from work (maybe even school) with a cold drink in front of the TV?
Did you see a man or woman in uniform today?
After doing a hospital visit on Sunday, Genevieve and I did some shopping. I pondered if a place like TLC (The Little Cellar) would be open on Sunday. You see, South Dakota prohibits the sale of alcohol on Sundays...almost.
Well, it would be 15 except I edited some out for content...
I was digging through some old emails when I came across this on. It's pretty funny, I think. These are things you could do when you are otherwise bored at Wal-Mart
I made a soup today as kind of an appetizer. It wasn't all that hard, but it turned out very delicious.
The idea came from a brewery/restaurant in Sioux Falls. They call theirs Ale 'n Cheddar soup. The one I made was a simplification of a Beer and Cheese Soup.
I'm not one to use eBay all that often, and when I do, I prefer the "Buy it Now" option. But, here is an item I bid on...and won. This makes the fifth item I've purchased through eBay, second by bidding.
