And...Another Happening

Happy Birthday to Me

I was born 33 years ago. I don't know which is the greater accomplishment, being born or making it to 33.

As an aside, on the Guitar Hero games, my band name is Thirty3. Coincidence? I think not!

When we are born we cry that we are come to this great stage of fools.

Happy Father's Day

belated

And, as the day comes to a close on the east coast of the U.S., a belated Father's Day to all the dads out there!

A Hymn of the Day

Awake, Thou Spirit, Who Didst Fire

In church this morning, I was really struck by the lyrics to this hymn. Here are my collected thoughts on it.

Formula 1 is in Shambles

and it excites me

I have written about my disgust over Formula in the past...countless times. I have thought, time and time again, that the governance of the sport was out of control. The teams agree with me.

I am a Legend of Rock

In a Manner of Speaking, I Guess

When Circuit City was going out of business, one of the treasures we found was Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for the PS3. Genevieve tried it out when we visited the Steeles some time ago and really liked it, so we picked it up for substantially less than it's worth.

Well, the past two days, I took some time to complete the game on easy mode. Hah! I am a legend of rock.

Man, do my wrists hurt, though.

I don't know how much further I'll go, though...

An intellectual snob is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture and not think of The Lone Ranger.

Frustrations

grrr

Grrr.

As a child, I thought I hated everybody, but when I grew up I realized it was just children I didn't like.

Stats Analyzation

Can't Figure it Out, But I Will

I've got some stats I put together regarding this site. I'll be posting them when the month is over as a matter of comparison. But, before then, I want to take a little time to analyze them. There may be an interesting hidden meaning in them. I may even make them look pretty with charts and such.

I have no special gift; I am only passionately curious.

I've Been Gaming

Online Fix...So To Speak

I've been playing a lot of Burnout Paradise, lately. That is to say, when I play a video game, it's almost always Burnout Paradise. And, thanks to Father's Day and birthday, in a new section of it (Big Surf Island). Complete fun!

If you're a PS3 player, look me up. My PSN name is thesios. Let's burn, sometime.

Video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock 'n roll.

Bot Question Confusion

Spell it Out, Like I Did

Okay, it seems some people were having difficulty posting comments here. The question I had was kind of confusing: "What is half of two?" Some people were answering "1". While technically correct, I had spelled out the number in the question, hoping the answer would be spelled out, too.

Anyway, I've changed the question. The answer is actually a number, not spelled out this time.

And the Happenings Keep Happening

It is June, Afterall

June 15 marks the anniversary of my ordination. It was a Father's Day, too, six years ago. There's more happenings to happen, yet, too, even, also...
