Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Mission Accomplished

Every Day An Entry

So, with this post, I've have successfully posted to my blog at least once a day for 30 days. This also marks the 40th post this month. This is definitely the most posted month. This, then, is a recap, of sorts.

Stats

First, some charts:

Posts Per Month
Average Posts Per Month
Posts Per Year

These stats are only for this installation of Pivotlog on famwagner.com. Before this, I had a Pivotlog installed at my freeshell account and before that, I used CuteNews at freeshell.

Before June 2009, the most heavily posted month here was May 2005 with 15 posts. However, September is, on average, the most heavily posted month. February, not because of its shortness, has the least number of posts on average.

The average and total posts per month charts looks similar. You'll only notice difference because I have a few months covering five years, while the rest only four. I can't make any analysis of the monthly stats.

The yearly stats, however, are more telling, I would say. Given some of the stuff that had been going on in our lives from 2006 through 2008 (and into 2009), it makes sense that I haven't been as active those years. I won't go into any specifics about what was going on, but if you know me (know us) well enough, you'll have an idea what it all was.

So, before this month, there were 165 public, published posts on Atlantis (this does not include the few posts on Mikaela's site). This post is the 40th this month, for a total of 205 posts, public and published on Atlantis.

Quotes

If you wondered where the quotes were coming from, I wasn't pulling them out of my head. I actually looked for quotes at a couple of sites, the subject of which dealt with something found in the post. The sentiment of the quote didn't always necessarily match the sentiment of the post, but the subject almost always matched. I looked for humorous quotes most of the time. I looked for short quotes all of the time.

What's to Come

I was asked if I would continue this into July and beyond. At this point, I can't say I will. I might be more active than I have been in the past, but I can't say with any certainty if you'll find a new post here tomorrow or not. So, that's why I'm thinking I'm calling this Mission Accomplished. I've done what I set out to do. At times, it was difficult to find something to write about. Other times, I had three posts on some days. I don't know how much I'll be able to do that in the coming months.
