Tim Tebow: A Class Act
And the 2007 Heisman Trophy Winner
Congratulations Tim Tebow! You've done the Gator Nation proud. And you've done those of your faith proud.
You've got a great set of priorities. You've got a God who loves you and sent His Son to die for you. You've got a terrific set of parents. You have unheard-of football talent. And now, you've got the Heisman Trophy.
Now, I just read this article on ESPN.com, and I really like this quote:
Tebow becomes the third Florida quarterback to win the Heisman and, as a result, every preacher in the Sunshine State will have his son throwing on Sunday. All three Gators quarterbacks who won the Heisman -- Steve Spurrier (1966), Wuerffel (1996) and Tebow -- are the sons of clergymen.
Looks like I'll be tossing the "ol' pigskin" with Robert one of these days very soon (okay, we've already played around with a football). I mean, I know I'm not in the Sunshine State, but I am "from" the Sunshine State. And I would love to send my son to the University of Florida.
